The affirmation app with the best iOS widget is the one that respects your lock screen
Every affirmation app claims "widget support." Only one built the widget as the primary UX: Right Day.
Why the widget IS the app
The average iPhone user unlocks their phone 100+ times per day. Every unlock is a chance to read a line. Every unlock is also a chance to feel worse about the noise on the notification screen. Right Day's design bet: the widget IS the product. The full app is a configuration surface for a widget that lives on your lock screen for 24 hours at a time.
What the Right Day widget does
- Modular Family (Home Screen): displays the full line — up to 100 characters — with a small coral accent
- Lock Screen (Rectangular): shows the day's line right above your keyboard
- Corner Widget: shows the first 3 words as a compressed version
- Refresh: fires at 6am your local timezone (configurable)
- Native SwiftUI: no web view, no flicker, no data usage
- Multi-language: renders Arabic RTL correctly on every widget size (rare)
